For our fifth installment of Squarespace Collection, we partnered with Michelin-Starred chef Mory Sacko. While perhaps not a household name in the US, Mory has become a figure in France. He’s one of the youngest chefs ever to obtain a star and currently runs two acclaimed restaurants in Paris. In Mory’s most esteemed restaurant, Mosuke, he describes the dining experience as that of a heron migrating through cuisines from France, Japan, Malia, and Senegal.

Directed by Stephan Wever and shot entirely on both color and black & white 35mm film, we set out to tell this story in the video below which ran on French broadcast TV and a variety of other digital platforms. The campaign was then extended into print and OOH placements with photography by Craig Reynolds.

This campaign gave our US-based team a unique challenge as it was made specifically for the French market. We worked tirelessly with Mory’s team and our internal French marketing team to ensure that everything felt decidedly bespoke to the market and as elevated as the experience Mory has created.
